Job Description - Residential HVAC Lead Installer

HVAC Install Repair Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team at Jack Harrison Heating & Air Conditioning in Olathe, KS. As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' comfort by efficiently installing new systems, and major replacement repairs. Our team services majority residential but also some light commercial. Duct work and sheet metal experience and expertise is a major factor. This position requires exceptional technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Inspect existing HVAC systems and determine the most suitable repair or replacement solutions
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely completion of projects while adhering to high-quality standards
  • Diagnose malfunctions, defects, or failures in HVAC systems and take appropriate corrective actions
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technical knowledge to enhance skills
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or in a similar role
  • Valid HVAC technician license
  • Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and repairing HVAC equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
  • Physical ability to perform HVAC installations and repairs, including lifting heavy equipment
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
